WELCOME, MAYOR HAYASHI (Yokohama, Japan)

President Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada and Vice-Mayor Isko Moreno are all smiles as they welcome to Manila City Hall their very special guest, the Honorable Fumiko Hayashi of Yokohama, Japan. Mayor Hayashi paid an official visit to the country’s capital city for the signing of a Joint Statement affirming sister city relations between Manila and Yokohama. In his brief remarks, Mayor Estrada lauded Yokohama’s political and civic leaders for creating a clean, prosperous and modern metropolis over the years, stressing that this was the same goal he was working for in Manila.
