FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM LAUNCHED

Former President Manila Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada earlier today re-launched the Rebolusyon Kontra Gutom (RKG), an advocacy that encourages backyard gardening and the cultivation of vacant lots to promote community-based food production as a step towards food security. His Honor first launched the RKG on Valentine's Day 2006 in Tanay, reviving it today to provide Manilenyos with a similar opportunity to cultivate nutritious vegetables in tandem with other members of the community.
