Former President Manila Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada turns on the switch at the inauguration of the street lighting project along Manga Avenue and Altura St. in Sampaloc, Manila. The event coincided with the opening of newly concreted Buenos Aires St. and Mindanao Avenue also in the same area. This is the fourth such project completed by the city engineering office in the last three months, part of Mayor Estrada's commitment to illuminate the entire city using energy-efficient technology that will significantly lower Manila's electricity consumption.
