The 28 lovely candidates for this year's Miss Manila 2015 beauty pageant were presented today before the press in ceremonies held at the Bulwagang Villegas, Manila City Hall. In his brief remarks, President Mayor described the pageant as a symbol of Manila's resurgence. Those present, including the candidates, were visibly amused after His Honor claimed that even if the country's weather agency Pag-asa had not made any formal announcement, the rainy season had officially begun in Manila, "...dahil inuulan kami ng mga magagandang Pilipina dito sa Maynila; hindi lang inuulan, kung hindi binabagyo pa."
